THE 2008 NATIONAL CONVENING ON YOUTH PERMANENCE

The Annie E. Casey Foundation and its direct service agency, Casey Family Services, already are planning the upcoming National Convening on Youth Permanence, set for 2008, in Washington, D.C.

Typically, convening sponsors have selected participants from each state and selected tribes, as well as key national organizations, helping to bring together a dynamic group of policymakers and practitioners that can best advance lifelong family connections for children and youth in foster care. Participants usually are in leadership positions within public child welfare systems, or interact with these systems regularly.
