Casey Center staff work collaboratively with selected sites to assess need, identify desired results and design consultation strategies that aim to:
- Increase knowledge/build awareness among key decision-makers, stakeholders, and practitioners.
- Inform/change attitudes of key decision-makers, stakeholders and practitioners.
- Enhance practice skills of child welfare and mental health practitioners.
- Build and strengthen program, policy, and quality service delivery capacities within child welfare systems and their partnerships with mental health programs.
The Casey Center engages our own Casey Family Services' practitioners to assist public and private organizations by:
- Disseminating information about Casey Family Services' and others' promising practices to guide practice, program and policy change.
- Engaging in strategic planning consultation.
- Providing program development and/or policy analysis consultation.
- Facilitating selected national, regional and state trainings/workshops.
- Advocating for targeted practice, program and policy change.
