MARE Honors Casey Family Services for Role in Adoption Parties

The Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) recently awarded Casey Family Services an award for outstanding attendance at its adoption parties used to connect children in need of families with prospective parents. The annual award is given to one private agency, as well as to one of the Department of Children and Families’ area offices, for the support of its events to match children and youth in foster care with forever families.
Casey’s Sheila Fitzgerald and many other staffers have tirelessly attended MARE-sponsored adoption parties with youth served by Casey Family Services to help build families for youth in care, says Division Director Meme Wheeler.
