Free Family Portraits for Vermont Adoptive Families

November is National Adoption Month. In honor of this important observance, Casey Family Services, the direct service agency of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, is hosting free photo portrait sessions for families who have adopted children in the state of Vermont. Professional photographer Karen Pike of Burlington – an adoptive parent herself – will bring her studio equipment to Casey’s two Vermont locations during the month.
Winooski Office, 46 Main Street
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 12
11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, November 13
White River Junction Office, 35 Railroad Row
3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, November 18
10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 19
Each participating family will receive one free five- x seven-inch color print and may order and pay for additional prints from the photographer online. Advance registration is required. Since 1984, Casey Family Services has been providing foster care and permanency planning services to youth and families throughout Vermont. The direct service agency of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the organization serves youth age nine and older and helps children thrive in safe, nurturing and strong families.
