Governor Baldacci Issues Foster Care Month Proclamation

Maine Governor John E. Baldacci issued a proclamation recognizing May as National Foster Care Month in honor of the contributions foster parents and families, individuals, and public and private organizations make to support youth in care. This year, the National Foster Care Month Partnership calls on citizens to help change a lifetime for youth in care, especially older youth most at risk of aging out without a lifelong family.
