Creating a Culture of Possibility to Support Children and Youth [video]
Lauren Frey, the project director for permanency services at Casey Family Services, talks with child welfare professionals in Western Massachusetts about how Casey Family Services has shifted from using a long-term foster care model to a permanency-driven process for children and youth. Key to the agency’s success in this effort has been the creation of a culture of possibilities about lifelong connections for children and youth from foster care. Frey’s presentation is from the Re-Envisioning Foster Care Conference, held November 15, 2010, in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
Frey’s presentation is captured in the accompanying video produced by Fostering Media Connections.
