Computers Go to 1,000 Parents


Concepts for Adaptive Learning (CFAL) celebrated an impressive milestone during a community event last month. More than 90 adults and children gathered to honor CFAL as it provided its 1,000th parent – Tasheen Salters – with a home computer and user training as part of the agency’s program to improve the academic performance of children. read more >

2009 Awards for Direct Services and Collaboration Grants


The Annie E. Casey Foundation and its direct service agency, Casey Family Services, have announced the award of $305,500 to 14 nonprofit organizations serving New Haven’s vulnerable children and families.
