Seacoast Snow Park Hosts Casey Foster and Adoptive Families

What a great day to be outdoors! It was a balmy 50 degrees, so we were glad that Seacoast Snow Park makes snow for their tubing runs. Casey Family Services’ group of more than 150 parents and kids descended on the hill at 9:30 a.m. last Thursday morning. Sledders ranged from those who barely grazed the 4-foot minimum height line to those who wondered if they might break a bone falling out of the tube. Most, however, were grinning ear to ear — including Casey social worker Ellen (pictured with me at the top of the hill) — at the prospect of being outdoors, whooshing down the hill, and enjoying the sun. What better way to spend a morning?
