Maine Jobs Helps Promote Foster Parents for Maine Teens
This Sunday, January 24, I will be featured in the Maine Sunday Telegram on the Classifieds page. You’ve seen the Job Spotlight, right? The paper runs a photo and article about various jobs. This one focuses on the work I do recruiting foster homes. It is very cool. We have taken advantage of this opportunity before, usually asking one of our foster families to be featured, but this time I had a few items I wanted to be sure to say, so I put my camera-shy face out there. Notably, I wanted to be sure to highlight the need for foster families who are willing to consider teenagers, and the need for families in town Portland. I can’t wait to see the result, and hope it convinces a few more people to contact us!
