Pride Training to Become a Foster Parent in Connecticut [September through November]

Beginning on Tuesday, September 18, Casey Family Services is sponsoring the required training program to become a foster or adoptive parent in Connecticut. This training series — which runs 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on eight Tuesdays from September 18 to November 6, as well as a full-day session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 10 — is required as part of the approval process to become a foster or adoptive parent in the state. Foster Parent Pre-Service Training Sessions (MAPP)

Beginning on Saturday, October 6, Casey Family Services is sponsoring the required training program to become a foster or adoptive parent in Massachusetts. Prospective parents must complete all four sessions of the Massachusetts Approach to Partnership in Parenting (MAPP) training series. In addition to the first session, participants are required to attend the following trainings:

• Saturday, October 13
• Saturday, October 20
• Saturday, October 27
