Diversity Journey 2008 Set for April 10 and 11
Casey Family Services is presenting its fifth annual Diversity Journey Conference on April 10 and 11, 2008, at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Manchester, New Hampshire. The event, with its "Building Skills" theme, challenges and inspires participants in their daily lives and in their professional endeavors.
The conference is designed for human service professionals, foster and adoptive parents, educators, policymakers, and other interested members of the community to expand their knowledge of diversity issues.
Speakers include Keith Jones, president and CEO of SoulTouchin’ Experiences; Peggy Gillespie, cofounder and director of the Family Diversity Projects; and Gerri King, a founding partner of Human Dynamics Association, Inc.
In addition to the above speakers and a host of workshops, the conference will feature a screening of the film "Divided We Fall" by Valarie Kaur and Sharat Raju. Learn more about the film here.
