2008 Diversity Conference Set
Casey Family Services, the direct service agency of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, will present its fifth diversity conference on April 10 and 11, 2008, at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Manchester, New Hampshire.
This year’s conference, “Diversity Journey 2008: Building Skills,” will help participants build the skills and tools needed to be culturally competent and build bridges. Responding to feedback from past attendees, the 2008 event will focus on serving refugee populations coming to New Hampshire, working across socioeconomic levels, and increasing the community’s capacity to meet the needs of those with disabilities.
While geared toward social service professionals, this annual conference is relevant to anyone interested in building a caring and accepting community.
