Casey Cares Youth Volunteers, Casey foster youth responding to community needs under the direction of the Life Skills Program, participated in the 28th Annual Walk Against Hunger campaign. The event was held at East Rock Park, New Haven, CT on Sunday, May 2, 2004 and raised approximately $1000.00 for this worthy cause. Never to let anything deter them, like the rainy weather present that day, they made the hike accompanied by several foster parents and Casey staff.
